OUR STORY
We met on a dance floor. We never looked back.
It was Friday the 13th, July 1979, and the place was a San Francisco dance floor. That's where Bobby and Scott first found each other, and neither of them has let go since. What started that night has grown into 47 years of partnership, adventure, family, and a love story that just keeps getting better.
Together with Scott's former spouse, we built a family, raising two daughters who have since given us six grandchildren, ranging in age from 12 to 32. After 29 years together, we were finally legally married in 2008, surrounded by the people we love most.
In 2022, we made our next big move, retiring to Arizona, where Bobby designed our dream home at the base of the mountains. To stay connected with our grandkids scattered across the country, we started filming our travels. It was actually one of our grandchildren who suggested the name: Two Gay Grandpas Travel.
We started the channel to leave something behind for the people we love. What we didn't expect was that the whole world would show up too.

In December 2023, a young influencer from Canada discovered their videos and asked his 23,000 followers to watch and 'give them some love and help change their lives.' They did exactly that — and then some.
In 2024, YouTube named them Creators on the Rise. In 2025, they earned the Silver Play Button.
MEET THE GRANDPAS
Grandpa Bobby
Grandpa Scott
Grandpa Bobby was born and raised in upstate New York on the shores of Lake Ontario. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture and spent over 45 years practicing interior architecture, founding Robert Puleo Design, Inc. in 2012. Bobby designed the home he and Scott now share in Arizona — right at the base of the mountains.
Grandpa Scott grew up in a small mining town in eastern Utah, where he learned the value of hard work and community. His career has spanned counseling, human resources, screenwriting, real estate, and serving as chief business officer of Robert Puleo Design, Inc. Scott ran for the California State Assembly twice and has spent his life in service to others.
